Refund Policy
All requests for refund or credit must be made in writing within 30 days of receipt of the order. A refund or credit will not be issued for software that has been installed and licensed or for orders older than 30 days. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

SUM comes with all initial purchases of RPM or INTELLIscribe. This means you'll receive one year of unlimited technical support and one year of free version upgrades with your initial purchase. After the year is up, you may renew the SUM.

Software Upgrade Maintenance (SUM) Program
The Software Upgrade Maintenance (SUM) program was developed to provide customers with continual upgrade and support options on all Brooks software applications. One year of SUM is automatically included in the product unit pricing. The SUM annual renewal rate for all products is 30% of the current listed price of the software. If SUM has expired, customers can reinstate it by paying for any months that have lapsed since the expiration date and by purchasing one year of SUM at the 30% renewal rate.
Current SUM ensures the following services on purchased and registered licenses.
Product Upgrade and Technical Support Services
SUM includes 12 months of platform specific product upgrades and 12 months of unlimited technical support. Platform specific upgrades are upgrades within the same product code and Windows environment (i.e. RPM Elite 4.0 to Elite 4.5 or RPM 9X 2.4 to RPM 9X 2.5).
Product Conversion and Printer Limit Upgrade Services
Current SUM also entitles customers to a 30% discount for cross-platform conversions (i.e. RPM 9X to RPM Select) and printer limit upgrades (i.e. RPM Elite to RPM Elite-2). For details on cross-platform conversion and printer limit upgrade prices, please contact your sales representative.
